If the pen is mightier than the sword, than the pixel is the hydrogen bomb. In the entire history of humanity, nothing has equalized our population more than the Internet. It has given a voice to those who previously had none. It has given democracy to those who couldn’t achieve it with guns and mortars. It has connected people who have never met, turning one voice into ten, then into 100, 1000, 100,000 and then a billion or more. From Haiti to New Zealand, Yemen to Egypt and now to Libya, we hear those voices and we are letting them know that they have the power of a digitally connected world behind them. We are more than connected to their cause, we are involved and together we provide weight to back up and reinforce the extreme dignity and will power shown by those who are oppressed and no longer alone.
Share your voice for Libya and send a note to the U.N. to stop the violence.
