What is a meme? According to wikipedia it is “a unit of social information. It is a relatively newly coined term and identifies ideas or beliefs that are transmitted from one person or group of people to another. The concept comes from an analogy: as genes transmit biological information, memes can be said to transmit idea and belief information.”
The meme is the marketers dream. We all wish we could win the meme lottery but unfortunately there is no real science behind them. In the moment of your Charlie Sheen’s and Rebecca Black’s I’d like to take a look back and list off some my favourite old skool memes.
