I’m happy to announce the addition of Julie Stolberg to the team as Associate Creative Director. I first met Julie on a sunny patio when she was interviewing for a job as copywriter. She presented some ideas for a few of our clients and within minutes I knew I had to work with her. She was hired (of course) and from that point forward we have been almost inseparable.
Julie comes to us now from Leo Burnett and previously from Henderson Bas and Ogilvy & Mather. After years of creating TV and print campaigns she made the digital switch and has never looked back. She brings along with her an amazing portfolio, a long list of awards and one sharp tongue (and pen). Julie has been instrumental in creating big brand sites for Coke and Molson, fun and entertaining microsites for Capital One, ING Direct and Mercedes-Benz, and fully integrated campaigns for Bell, Kellogg’s and Blackberry.
I’ve never done better work that than the work I’ve done with Julie — which is why from the moment I started at Dashboard I petitioned for her to come on board. When I am sometimes conservative, she is sometimes crazy. When I sweat of the design details, she sweats the message. And when I can’t find the words, she finds them effortlessly. Julie pushes the boundaries of every idea, writes scripts that can make me laugh over and over and works hard to nail the right message every time. Julie is a big thinker with a strategic mind and her positivity is infectious to everyone around her. I am thrilled she chose us over her many offers.
