Account Director

We seek a highly motivated individual looking for an opportunity as an Account Director in our ever expanding team of strategic specialists.

We are a unique consumer engagement and marketing agency in Toronto with a national reputation for thinking strategically and acting creatively. The successful candidate will join our marketing team and interact with a variety of clients externally and our entire team internally. You will provide strong and focused leadership to your clients, while playing well in a sandbox filled with creatives, programmers and account managers.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • High-level client relationship management
  • Business development leadership with existing clients
  • Oversight on planning, execution and delivery of all projects
  • Direction on client financial management and forecasting
  • Mentorship of junior/intermediate resources (account management practices, strategy)
  • Proactive communication with internal creative, development and project management groups
  • Support on new business pitches for Dashboard, as required
Ongoing ownership for:
  • Insight into consumer and channel trends, delivered both formally and informally to agency and clients
  • Digital education and information plans for each primary client, and oversight over related content and scheduling
  • Contributions to Dashboard’s blog and external communications activities
  • Other duties as assigned
Qualifications and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in Advertising, Marketing, Communications, or equivalent relevant experience.
  • Familiarity with brand / retail marketing is preferred but not required.

  • The ability to brainstorm in groups and come up with on-brand advertising ideas
  • A passion for advertising, design innovation and experimentation
  • You know what an IA is and what UX means
  • Have presented work to clients
  • A good understanding of art direction for photoshoots, video shoots, illustration and animation

Account Manager

We seek a highly a motivated individual looking for an entry level opportunity as an Account Manager in our ever expanding team of strategic digital specialists.

We are an automotive division of a major digital agency in Toronto, Ontario with a national reputation for thinking strategically and acting creatively. The successful candidate will join our internal marketing team and interact with a variety of clients externally and our entire team internally. You must be able to play well in a sandbox filled with creative's, programmers, account managers and clients. Account Managers oversee internal process to ensure the team executes the plan. You'll get first-hand experience in interactive advertising, integrated campaigns and social media campaign implementation.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Interact with our customers to align unselfish service of their needs, with our corporate objectives
  • Build and develop strong working relationships with customers
  • Demonstrate "ownership" of account by responding to client requests
  • Monitor and analyze account performance on our website solution and all extensions as offered in our agency solutions
  • Maintain all vendor relationships as they pertain to day to day GloveBox operations
  • Work with key management to design and implement action plans for improving account performance
  • Construct and communicate summary reports with appropriate documentation
  • Retail automotive experience
  • Computer literacy including MS Office
Qualifications and Experience:
  • College or Bachelor's degree in Advertising, Marketing, Communications, or equivalent relevant experience.
  • Familiarity with automotive marketing/ automotive industry is preferred but not required.

Qualifications and Experience:
  • A post-secondary degree/diploma in Advertising, Communications, Marketing, English or related creative discipline
  • A minimum of 1 year experience in an agency setting
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational and problem-solving abilities
  • Solid attention to detail
  • Understanding and passion for the digital space
  • Excellent verbal and written communications

The ability to debate random trivia while simultaneously juggling phone calls, emails and briefs will endear you to your immediate coworkers, however, is not mandatory.
